Strength and Conditioning
A Strength and Conditioning coach is responsible for the physical preparation of clients/athletes. They are also required to manage, rehabilitate and prevent injuries as well as plan and monitor training loads. Research has demonstrated that not only does training improve performance but that incorrect training can cause decrements to performance. They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, provide guidance (or advice) for athlete nutrition, injury prevention and reconditioning.
